Reservations are now open for the new manual “Internal Medicine: Methodology, Semiotics, Pathophysiology, Clinical Practice, Medical Therapy.”

The book was written with the contribution of 29 Italian authors, including professors and collaborators. Among them is Prof. Riccardo Polosa, Full Professor of Internal Medicine at the University of Catania and founder of CoEHAR, the first international research center for tobacco harm reduction.

The manual, “Internal Medicine: Methodology, Semiotics, Pathophysiology, Clinical Practice, Medical Therapy,” published by Chirone Moderno Editore, will be the new reference text for all experts in the field and for all future Italian doctors. This is a valuable 900-page volume on internal medicine, innovative and highly relevant, designed to educate future doctors and all professionals committed to continuous training. It is a fundamental text to enhance clinical and medical education based on the understanding of pathophysiological processes.

Among the contributors, Prof. Riccardo Polosa, Professor of Internal Medicine at the University of Catania, Director of the Complex Operational Unit of Internal and Emergency Medicine at the “Policlinico-V. Emanuele” University Hospital, and founder of CoEHAR. The scientific director of the manual is Prof. Ettore Bartoli. Coordination is handled by Prof. Sergio Rassu, Director of the Emergency Department and Urgent Medicine at the “SS Annunziata” Hospital. Prof. Lucia Spicuzza, Professor of Respiratory Diseases, and Prof. Davide Campagna, Researcher in Internal Medicine are among the contributors from the University of Catania.
