This ERS research seminar aims to address challenges related to IVD implementation against antimicrobial resistance in respiratory infections. It will discuss strategies for improved antibiotic stewardship, identify barriers to IVD implementation, and facilitate round-table discussions among experts. Outcomes include a seminar report and a framework for clinical research on IVD utility for respiratory infections.
