On Friday, November 22, Prof. Riccardo Polosa will present the new Internal Medicine Manual during a seminar organized at the Torre Biologica of the University of Catania
Internal medicine represents a multidisciplinary field of study that requires continuous and constant updating. For this reason, a team of Italian authors has rapidly completed the drafting of a new and modern manual on internal medicine.
The book will be presented on Friday, November 22, during an ADE seminar organized at the Torre Biologica of the University of Catania on the topic of respiratory system pathophysiology. The new volume will be introduced by Prof. Riccardo Polosa, founder of CoEHAR, the research center dedicated to tobacco harm reduction, and co-author of the text. In a dedicated session, the Catania-based scientist will share the genesis of the new volume, a result of a multidisciplinary collaboration with experts from across the field of internal medicine.
“This manual represents a new and important point of reference for young students and future professionals, with clear and precise guidance aimed at Italian specialists. It is the result of a strong and fruitful collaboration with some of the most prominent experts in our country,” commented Prof. Polosa.
Joining the event will be Dr. Sergio Rassu, former Director at ASL Sassari and scientific coordinator of the manual; Prof. Giovanni Li Volti, director of CoEHAR, and Professors Davide Campagna, Massimo Caruso, and Rosalia Emma, researchers at the University of Catania and CoEHAR.
The event is scheduled for Friday, November 22, from 9 AM to 1 PM, and is open to students and specialized staff.
